Imported from France, alencon (re-embroidered chantilly) lace is commonly used in upscale designer bridal gowns. Timeless and elegant, alencon lace is delicate yet durable enough to withstand beading and shaping beautifully. This pattern has an all-over floral design that can be cut out and used as appliques. There is a different scalloped border at each end/selvage.
